Is this casino site the real one? Seven checks before you deposit
Copies of well-known casinos are built to pass a two-second glance. They rarely pass seven deliberate checks, and none of them takes long.
The short test: check the spelling of the address against one you trust, see how you got there, look at what the login and cashier ask for, and walk away from any site that wants a payment to verify you or to release a withdrawal. For CasinoWinner, the one real address is casinowinner.live, and the welcome code is WIN300.
We see this problem from the inside. Our name is used on several sites we do not run, and the players who reach them are not naive; they simply trusted a search result or a link that looked right. The method below is the one we would give a friend. It works for any casino, and we use our own as the worked example because we know exactly what the real one does.
1. Does the address match, character for character?
Look-alikes rely on small changes: an added hyphen, a plural "s", a different ending. Compare the address bar against a source you already trust — a bookmark, an email from your existing account, the brand's own information page. Read it slowly, left to right.
| Trick | Example around our name | The real one |
|---|---|---|
| Hyphen added | casino-winner.live, casino-winner.org | casinowinner.live |
| Letter added | casinoswinner.com | casinowinner.live |
| Ending swapped | casinowinner.bet, casinowinner.uk | casinowinner.live |
None of those addresses is operated by CasinoWinner. The hyphenated .live version goes furthest, and has its own explanation.
2. How did I get here?
Typing the address yourself is the safest route; a home-screen icon you installed from the real site is just as good. Sponsored results, social media posts, private messages promising a "special code" and links in unexpected emails are the routes that most often lead to copies. If you arrived that way, close the tab and come back by typing.
3. What does the login box ask for?
Know how your casino signs you in. CasinoWinner uses a username and password; the email address does not go in the username field, and the password reset asks for both the username and the account email. A copy often gets this detail wrong, because it was built from screenshots rather than from the real system. A login box that wants a card number, a phone code you did not request, or your email "to restore access" deserves suspicion.
What if I already typed my password into a look-alike?
Go to the real site by typing the address, change the password there, and change it anywhere else you used the same one, starting with your email account.
4. What does the cashier list?
A real cashier tells you plainly what it accepts and the minimums. At CasinoWinner that is Revolut, Visa, Mastercard and crypto, in euro, with a €25 minimum and €30 on Revolut and card. A page that offers only one unusual payment route, pushes you to a personal wallet address in a chat window, or keeps changing the amount is behaving unlike a cashier.
5. Is anyone asking me to pay to get paid?
This is the check that matters most. Genuine identity checks use documents. At CasinoWinner you upload a photo ID, a proof of address and proof of your payment method, and that happens around your first withdrawal. A request for a "verification deposit", an "unlock fee", a "release payment" or a top-up before a withdrawal can go through is the clearest sign you are not dealing with the real casino. Stop there, pay nothing more, and speak to your bank or payment provider about what has already gone.
6. Does the bonus match what the brand itself says?
Brands publish their own welcome offer. CasinoWinner's is WIN300, a 300% match on the first deposit, entered at sign-up or in the cashier, and always optional. Codes that differ, percentages that change between pages, or "free" balances that need a payment to unlock should be checked against the brand's own information site before you do anything. Ours is spelled out on the WIN300 page.
7. Does the game lobby look like the real one?
If you have played at a casino before, its lobby is familiar: the same categories, the same games in the same places. Copies often carry a short, odd list. For reference, CasinoWinner counted 3,931 games from 106 studios and 210 live dealer tables on 7 September 2026, with roughly 590 playable in demo mode. A lobby of a few dozen titles under our name is not ours.
A checklist to keep
- Address typed by hand or opened from your own icon.
- Spelling compared with a trusted source.
- Login works the way you know it works.
- Cashier lists clear methods and minimums.
- No payment requested to verify, unlock or withdraw.
- Bonus code matches the brand's own page.
- Lobby looks like the catalogue you expect.
The simplest long-term fix is to remove the search step altogether. CasinoWinner has an app for iOS and Android that installs straight from the site; once the icon is on your phone it opens casinowinner.live and nothing else. See installing the app, or go back to the official site page for the full list of our domains.
18+. Play for fun and set limits before you deposit, on whichever site you choose.

Checking a casino site
How can I tell if a casino website is fake?
Compare the address with a trusted source, check how the login and cashier behave, and treat any request for money to verify or withdraw as a reason to leave.
Is a site safe because it looks exactly like the real casino?
No. Logos and colours are easy to copy. The address, the login and the cashier rules are much harder to fake convincingly.
Do real casinos ask for a deposit to verify identity?
CasinoWinner never does. Verification there uses documents only: photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment method.
What should I do if I paid a site that is not the real casino?
Stop paying, stop sending documents, keep screenshots and contact your bank or payment provider with the dates and amounts.
Which addresses belong to CasinoWinner?
casinowinner.live for the casino, and casinowinner-official.com and casinowinner.org.uk for information only.
